We use Your Personal Data to provide and improve the Services, including our AI-powered features and PWA experience. By using our Services, You agree to the collection and use of information according to this Privacy Policy. If You do not agree with or are not comfortable with any aspect of this Privacy Policy, You should immediately discontinue Your use of our Services.
3. COLLECTING AND USING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The Personal Information We Collect
You do not have to provide any Personal Information to access the Site in a limited browsing mode. However, if you choose to create an account for use with the ARK Application, to access personalized AI features, to save checklists or preferences, or to request concierge services, we ask you to provide your full name, email address, phone number, and may request additional profile information relevant to military relocation planning (such as branch of service, rank/pay grade, current or projected duty station, family composition, anticipated PCS timeline, or specific preferences regarding housing, schools, or locations).
If you choose not to share this information with us, we will not be able to reserve your username or provide full account functionality, personalized AI assistance, saved preferences, or certain concierge features.
AI Feature Data Collection
When you use the AI-powered features of the Service (including AI chat, query-based recommendations, automated content or checklist generation, or other intelligent tools), we collect and process:
- The full text of your queries, prompts, and inputs.
- Conversation history and context within a session or across sessions (if you are logged in and have not cleared history).
- Any profile, preference, or contextual information you voluntarily provide or that is associated with your account (e.g., duty station, family status, move timeline) to enable relevant, personalized responses.
- Feedback you may provide on AI outputs (e.g., ratings, corrections, or “was this helpful?” responses).
This data is used solely to deliver, personalize, and improve the AI components of the Service. AI interactions are processed to generate tailored relocation guidance, checklists, answers to questions about PCS processes, entitlements, and related topics.
Important: AI processing may involve third-party AI infrastructure or model providers. In such cases, necessary query data and context are shared with those providers under contractual safeguards (including confidentiality and data processing agreements). We do not use your personal AI conversations to train third-party foundation models without appropriate anonymization, aggregation, and legal basis. However, you acknowledge that any online AI interaction carries inherent risks of data processing by the underlying model provider.
PWA and Technical Data
Use of the Progressive Web App (PWA) functionality may involve your browser’s service worker, local storage, caching mechanisms, and (if you consent) push notification tokens. Technical data related to PWA installation, updates, offline caching status, and interaction patterns may be collected to improve functionality and user experience. Most PWA-related data remains on your device; only information you explicitly submit or sync is transmitted to our servers.
4. USAGE DATA
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Platform.
When You access the Service by or through a device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of device You use, Your device’s unique ID, the IP address of Your device, Your operating system, the type of Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers, the date and time of use, the functions you access (including specific AI features or PWA interactions), data on your patterns in copying and pasting and entering information, AI query types and frequency (in aggregated or anonymized form where feasible), PWA installation and engagement metrics, and other diagnostic data.
5. USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service: including monitoring the usage of Our Platform and Service, and powering AI Features and PWA functionality.
- To manage Your Account: to enable and manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide allows us to create and maintain your account, reserve or assign a username/handle where applicable, match your information during any account verification process, and provide continuity for saved preferences, checklists, and AI conversation history.
- For the performance of a contract and/or to enforce our terms: the development, compliance and undertaking of the contract Services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service (including concierge packages or premium features).
- To ensure quality control: quality control, staff training, and AI model improvement to ensure you are provided with accurate and helpful information and responses.
- To contact You: by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as push notifications (if enabled via PWA or account settings), regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, or contracted services, including security updates, AI feature improvements, or service announcements, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
- To provide You: with news, special offers, new AI feature announcements, and general information about ARK services unless You have opted not to receive such information.
- To manage Your requests: To attend to and manage Your requests to Us, including support tickets, concierge requests, and feedback on AI outputs.
- To provide and improve AI Features: To process your queries, maintain conversation context, generate personalized relocation checklists, recommendations, and guidance; to analyze usage patterns (in de-identified form where possible) to improve relevance, reduce hallucinations through prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) where implemented, and enhance overall AI performance. AI outputs are probabilistic and provided for informational convenience only.
- To enable and improve PWA functionality: To support installation, caching, offline access (where available), push notifications, and a seamless app-like experience across devices and sessions.

All such providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- For Business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates may include parents, subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.
6. RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The Company will retain Your Personal Data securely throughout the life of Your Account. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
AI conversation history, generated checklists, saved preferences, and related personalization data are retained as part of Your Account to provide ongoing personalized service and conversation continuity. You may request deletion of specific AI history, preferences, or your entire account data through account settings or by contacting us (subject to technical feasibility, legal holds, and backup retention policies).
The Company will retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Platform or Service (including AI model refinement), or if We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
7. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.
The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of Your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of Your data and other personal information.
8. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Notwithstanding any other section of this Agreement, we will disclose your data to another party if we are required by law and are compelled to do so by subpoena, court order, or a similar legal procedure, as described below.
- Business Transactions. If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
- Law Enforcement. Under certain circumstances, the Company may disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency). The Company may also disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation

- Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Platform or Service
- Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public
- Protect against legal liability
9. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security. This is particularly relevant for AI interactions, where query data is processed by underlying models that may reside on third-party infrastructure.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
Our Platform and our Service uses third party Service Providers for some functions, including hosting, analytics, customer support tooling, and AI model/infrastructure providers necessary to deliver intelligent features. These Service Providers process information for Us and deliver services that we use to operate the Platform.
